Kenworth Cottage

This is a beautifully updated house that has all the needed amenities. It is comfortable and the location was easy to find. There is an awesome park near the house. Our questions were answered promptly and the owners were very kind.

The house was so cozy and plenty of room for my family to stay comfortable. I was able to create many fun memories with my family here. I would definitely like to come back.

This home was perfect for our needs. The house was beautiful, the price was amazing. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could want for cooking, all the appliances were top of the line, the beds were all comfortable, the upstairs functions as an apartment of its own.. great rental!

Great property. Extremely clean and updated. Met the owners our first day and they were so pleasant and welcoming to our family. Would definitely stay again!

My nephew plays college baseball in Hickory. We wanted to get away this fall and decided to have my brother meet us in Hickory to watch him play. We traveled by car from NYS and my brother from Texas. What an absolute wonderful experience we all had. My nephew was very homesick. We were able to attend the games with amazing weather. I was able to make home cooked comfort meals for him whilst there. Although if we did go out..so many options. The house was everything as pictured and described and much more. What can not be accounted for online is the coziness of this home. It is woefully apparent that the owners have put so much love into this home. It has modern amenities however maintains the era of this century old home. It’s charming, warm and very welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors friendly. While I did not have the opportunity to personally meet the owners, my brother did. He reported she was very pleasant. We did not need to reach out to her during our stay but I’m confident if we did, she would be quite responsive. I would highly recommend this rental. If we make it back to the area; we will definitely be staying here again. 😊
