Corporate Cabin Aurora Refuge

Happy Guests Positive: The house is beautiful and warm. Check in was a breeze. Location is good, not too far from supermarket and restaurants, within walking distance. Bed is very comfortable and we have good sleep. Kitchen is well equipped. We like the washing and dryer. Host is helpful and is prompt is responding. Night sensor light is good especially when you returned to the house at night. We will highly recommend this place. Negative: Everything was good. We were hoping to see moose or aurora and were disappointed. Of course this is no fault of the host.

Positive: This hotel was absolutely perfect. First of all, it was incredibly clean, and the garage made it very convenient to safely park the car, even in the cold weather. It’s just a 15-minute drive to downtown Fairbanks and about 1 hour and 20 minutes to Chena Hot Springs, so the location was excellent. One of the highlights was the large window in the living room, which allowed me to watch the aurora comfortably from indoors. If you don’t mind the cold, the well-prepared yard also provides a great spot for viewing the aurora outdoors. I stayed here for 4 nights, and on the first and second nights, when the weather was clear, I was able to enjoy the aurora in a private and relaxed way without needing any tours. It felt like having my own personal aurora-viewing spot. The host was also incredibly kind and thoughtful, and everything about the stay exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Fairbanks.
